This stone features pale mint to yellow green variscite veining running through a jet-black matrix. The black matrix dominates the stone, creating a bold contrast. The variscite appears in bold streaks and jagged vein patterns, reminiscent of lightning bolts or tree roots. The central variscite vein runs vertically, drawing the eye down the length of the cabochon. Thin spiderweb-like fractures branch off the main streaks. This cabochon has a tapered, asymmetrical teardrop or spearhead shape, with a broader top and a softly pointed bottom. The form accentuates the vertical flow of the variscite veins.
