Bamboo Mountain Turquoise $49 - N092726-4

This spectacular oversized Bamboo Mountain turquoise cabochon is a true statement stone, with an unusual combination of olive green, golden-green and blue-green turquoise set against a striking dark charcoal-to-black matrix.

The stone features an incredible “island” or nugget-like pattern, with numerous rounded turquoise sections outlined by vivid golden-brown matrix lines. Some areas are beautifully translucent-looking and glow with shades of green and honey under the polish, while the dark matrix provides dramatic contrast throughout the stone.

The face has been carefully shaped and polished to showcase as much of this unusual natural pattern as possible. The dimensional patterning continues around the edges, giving the cabochon substantial visual depth from the side as well as the front.

Sourced from Hubei province in China. The metaphysical properties of Bamboo Mountain Turquoise include communication and emotional balance.
